The German Consulate General is located in the Office Building of the Omni Hotel on Michigan Avenue in Downtown Chicago. The entrance to the Office Building is on West Huron Street.
The Consulate can be reached by almost all bus lines wich head to Downtown Chicago as well as by subway (Red Line). The nearest Red Line stations are Chicago and Grand.
Parking facilites are available on West Huron Street, 2 blocks west from the Consulate's building.

Opening Hours
Visa (Mo - Fri) 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Passports (Mon-Fri) 9 a.m. to 12 noon and (Mon - Thu) 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Other consular and legal matters (Mo - Fri) 9 a.m. - 12 noon or by appointment.
The Consulate General's working hours are
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
The Consulate General will be closed on some German and U.S. holidays.
